PSN Presents First VSAT Auto Pointing Antenna in Indonesia

Today, the banking world in Indonesia is entering a period of very competitive competition. The banking sector has a strategic role in contributing to the economic growth of a country. Currently, banking companies are competing to provide the best service to their customers and to be able to excel in this competition, banking companies must be able to create a new innovation that plays a proactive role in “picking up the ball”. The support of communication technology is an inevitable choice and a determining factor for competitive advantage in increasingly sharp business competition.

PSN first introduced the first version of MVSAT at the APCONEX 2010 banking exhibition in Jakarta. Unlike its competitors, PSN has equipped MVSAT with Single Push-Button Automatic Satellite Acquisition capability, which allows users to simply press one button to operate the device. MVSAT will automatically search for the appropriate satellite direction based on its current location and an on-line connection can be established immediately. This feature will be very convenient for users who do not have any basic knowledge of satellite technology at all.

Currently, PSN MVSAT has been used in several banking and government institutions, such as BNPB, Dispenda, Diskominfo, BNI, and regional banks. In Indonesia, the use of MVSAT satellite telecommunications network infrastructure is the right choice, considering that Indonesia consists of many islands that are spread out so that it requires innovative satellite-based communication solutions.

The MVSAT innovation was created because PSN has comprehensive capabilities from upstream to downstream in the world of satellite telecommunications. PSN is the first private satellite company and one of three satellite operators in Indonesia. It is a source of pride for the company and employees because they have succeeded in consistently becoming pioneers for various telecommunications technologies.
